Chnoburi Province Wat Yan and Mondop Temples

Another beautiful morning ride on my CBR to relax and photograph the amazing temples and shrines in Chonburi Province.  Today's trip was a little bit south of Pattaya to a large concentration of lovely parks, woods and lakes holding around every bend a new and intriguing part of Thailand.  I hope you enjoy these photos of the area around Wat Yan.

Wat Yannasangwararam – A royal temple complex dedicated to his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej located about 15km south of Pattaya. The park-like temple site is vast, scenic and tranquil and consists of several beautiful buildings, both religious and non-religious, including one looking like a Chinese imperial palace. Built around a lake, the huge facility accommodates a variety of temples of different architectural styles, buildings, monuments, parks, a mountain-temple and small little houses built for the monks to live in.
